Security wall for construction sites.
Safe and Cover offers a product that replaces fall protection railing and plastic used to cover buildings against weather and wind. The product is reusable and can be used over and over again. According to the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, 150 000 tons of plastic waste are used by the Swedish building industry every year. Of this 0,8% is being recycled.
OIM has done everything from industrial design, mechanics, and complete product development, the safety wall consists of a cassette mounted in the concrete slab at the floor plan. The cassette itself then becomes a fall protection railing. Inside the cassette, there is a roll-up of armored plastic mounted that can be rolled out to a height of 450 cm. This roll-up then becomes the protection for weather and wind that replaces traditional build- and plastic cover.
